“A teenager and her mum say they are shocked after learning a service to help young people with chronic fatigue will fold on Friday.

Kim Short and her daughter Tamsin rely on the help they get from a dedicated chronic fatigue service, which helps children and young people throughout Welwyn and Hatfield Times Territory.

Kim, of Endymion Court, Hatfield, said she was prepared to fight “tooth and nail” to keep the service, which is part of the East and North Herts NHS Trust and based at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage.”
