What Others Are Saying About The Sleepydust M.E./ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Course…

It's always great to read feedback from Sleepydusters who have completed our online ME/CFS course (you can get a free 'ME / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Couse Taster' here…)

ME/CFS sufferer, Siobhan Copson, recently completed the course and has this to say about it:

"I found the course really clear, straight forward and brain fog friendly. This is partly because of the easy to read formatting and partly because the content is simply written and easy to understand. As you well know, those things are pretty key for M.E sufferers!…

(feedback continued)…

"It is laid out really well, and that is a great help. I also really liked the way you sent out the individual parts of the course at 2 day intervals, which meant that I focussed properly on each part rather than jumping forward and backward between different parts. It also made the whole thing more manageble, by imposing a rest period between sections which otherwise I may not have strictly observed!

One can always print out sections of your course that feel most relevant… just so you can have it in your hand if you know what I mean.

I've never read any M.E books cover to cover, partly because they are too long but also they are often so downbeat. I used to always jump to the 'recovery prognosis' section and then set the book aside disheartened/hopeless. I really feel that you got the balance spot on in the course.

Hopeful realism.

The fact that you have made such progress yourself is also really motivating for your readers.

The course provided clarity and cohesion to the different aspects of the illness and how it affects daily life. Also, you covered some topics which I have not looked into, such as looking into energy in a more scientific sense.

I definitely think that the course could be essential reading for people who are newly diagnosed. I say this for two reasons: Firstly, as I have said, you provide a clear, easy to read but comprehensive overview of the illness and its wider ramifications.

Secondly, I feel you cut the right balance between detailing the reality of the illness with hope for recovery. Much of what I read when I first got ill was very information and detail heavy and was pretty depressing. In fact, very depressing. It is essential, as I'm sure you agree, that the newly diagnosed - and also those who have had M.E a long time and are losing hope - must be given realistic hope that recovery IS possible.

I came away from your course feeling like that is the case.

Your website has been a huge help to me and I thank you very much for all your work,

Best wishes,

Siobhan Copson"

Thanks to Siobhan, for taking the time to send her comments to us.

We hope that your message will help to give other sufferers more insight into the course itself.
