This seemed to confirm my suspicions that the "mononucleosis" diagnosed in 1991 was the same thing, as was a "flu" in 1977, which, unusually, caused large gaps in my memory during the weeks that followed. Could it be just a coincidence that 1977 is also the only year I took (how ironic) an anti-flu jab, or have others had the same experience?
